RESOLUTION HANDED DOWN BY THE GENERAL MANAGER OF PUBLIC BUSINESS ENTITY RED.ES UPDATING THE LIST OF TERMS PROHIBITED OR RESERVED FOR SECOND-LEVEL “.ES” DOMAIN NAMES IN REGARD TO DESIGNATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH NATIONAL PARKS
César Miralles Cabrera, General Manager of public business entity Red.es (hereinafter, “RED.ES”), under the fourth provision of the Instruction of the Chairman of Red.es, dated 12 September 2005, approving the lists of terms prohibited or reserved for “.es” domain names (hereinafter, “the lists”).
WHEREA
ONE.- Based on its accumulated experience of carrying out the task of registering “.es” domain names since the approval of the lists by the Instruction of 12 September 2005, the Assignment Authority recommends that the ".es" domain names included in the lists should be regularly updated, adding new terms in order to guarantee compliance and the fulfilment of their intended purpose.
TWO. - On 16 May 2011, the lists were updated to include a series of domain names that coincided with the names of various national parks declared as such under the provisions of Article 10 of Law 5/2007, of 3 April, on the National Parks Network. The domain names included in said list may only be registered by the Autonomous Authority for National Parks (OAPN).
THREE.- Following a new request made by the Autonomous Authority for National Parks (OAPN), it is now necessary to update the list of terms detailed in the Resolution of 16 May 2011 to include new terms which, although not currently registered, coincide with the names of various national parks. The new domain names included in the list may only be registered by the Autonomous Authority for National Parks (OAPN).
In view of the above,
AGREES
SOLE PARAGRAPH.- To update the list of reserved second-level “.es” domain names approved on 16 May 2011 with the terms included on the Annex to this Resolution.
